Glock 48 Cost - The original is still very good in Gen 3, my wife and I had a lot of fun with it out of the box. Forgiving and a little easier, it doesn't take much to work very well. 2k rounds with a tungsten guide rod seem strong and with a stock set of sights probably a long range gun. Easy to learn, not too big for anyone but the tiniest hidden figures.
I bought a gen 1 17 in the late 80's early 90's. I have put countless rounds in it and it always runs like a champ. I have several pistols. But this is my hidden carry piece and my head.

Great gun. I taught my wife to shoot this gun. He fell in love with shooting and the Glock.
What Is The Best Optic For My Glock 43x Mos
The Glock 17 Gen 4 is my EDC that I trust with my life against someone who might try to end mine. What a comfort knowing I have a Glock 17 around my waist.
I work, eat and sleep my Glock 17 Gen 3! Best gun ever made in my book! Easy to clean, easy to carry. Buy yours today! Don't forget to buy two more magazines.
This is one of the best 9mm pistols out there. I know there are many and the Glock 19 is #1 in the US, but a light, thin, conceivable 9mm Glock 17 Gen 4 is great with a beavertail backstrap because the NATO FMJ is good practice, not garbage. High pressure for handy practical ammo. I tend to use NATO 239 grain .45 acp Glock 21 models, but this is my second favorite. I haven't tried the Gen 5 yet and generally feel more comfortable with the full size Gen 4 Glocks. A better recoil kit can help with any full-time duties or erratic ejections.
Possibly the best poly gun ever! See how many LE agencies around the world trust the Glock 17. That kind of approval doesn't come without getting the little things right! The reliability of the G17 is undeniable; what's not to like? An ugly gun? To check. Not the cleanest or lightest trigger break on the market? To check. Original "plastic" gun? To check. Factory front and rear sights that are...ummm?...not the best? To check. Does it pop and hit the target like a champ every time? Check it out too. Has it survived and actually evolved through years of torture experiments by various agencies, police departments and the military? It would also be a check. If you've never trusted your life with a Glock 17, you'll never truly appreciate the comfort that so many, law enforcement and civilians alike, experience next to it. Take one. You see what I mean.
Do Glocks Have Safeties?
I bought it pretty much used without knowing its history. Changed the trigger and striker assembly to improve trigger pull and added fiber optic sights. It has been 100% reliable! I have owned it for about 7 years. Steel body, factory recycled and old ammo - just eats and spits! I have a collection of pistols and I buy and sell them, but I keep it.
I bought my G17, Gen4 to have a single action for 9mm range use. I used to shoot a .40 cal double action. The ease and feel of shooting is great. It included different sized back straps which is definitely a plus. I installed the Ultimate Pyramid Flat Face Trigger Assembly, Extended Slide Release and optical sights. But straight out of the box it shoots really well. In total, I'm out about $900 for this gun, which I think is worth the cost for my preferences. It fits well in my hand, accurate, minimal recoil, sharp trigger break and quick reset, good balance and reliable. The holster design is sleek but not too big for concealed carry. Excellent at gun range and used during tactical operations. I recommend this gun to the new or experienced shooter.
Never had a jam with the sharp handgun, I tried to jam it by shooting 4 clips of 18 rounds as fast as I could, it didn't jam and was very accurately balanced as well
I have owned my Gen4 Glock 17 for a few years now and feel it is one of the best 9mm pistols on the market today. I installed the "Ultimate Pyramid Trigger Assembly" and fiber optic sights. These options only increase the capabilities of this pistol. In addition, the large back strap and beaver tail ensure good feeling and comfort. Due to the angle and size of the design, getting a good grip on the tie is comfortable and smooth. Needless to say, this is critical to the speed of sight alignment for a quick hit on the scope. As a service firearm, it's lightweight so you won't tire of carrying a heavy pistol all day. At halftime or during tactics, the accuracy is excellent. Right or left handed shooting is not a problem as it is well balanced. Whether it's taking precision shots or high-speed shots, I haven't had any issues yet. Bottom line, I highly recommend this pistol for home defense, service, or even competition shooting.
Glock 48 Gray Pistol 10 Rd
There was one time in 2015 when I ran into my friends because we didn't have oil or a cleaning kit and they weren't coming soon. This was the British Army and we were glad we didn't have to clean the pistols, and the gun didn't fire like a two-stroke after a few shots. Turns out I got up close and personal and the thing just kept going and going and going through the entire contact. I still dream about that pistol I got and how it saved my life.
It can't knock, it just keeps the carbon off the parts and your kit. The sights used to drive me crazy, but when you're in a pistol pushing power, guess what. It works. Thanks for my Glock life :).
I have had a Glock 17, Gen 4 for about 5 years. To this day, I use it as a workload for several reasons; durability, accuracy, versatility, weight, number of rounds, balance, etc. The only modifications I have made to my pistol are; Pyramid trigger, TruGlo optical sight, stainless steel competition spring and tape. All these goods were bought through . The "back strap" options are perfect for the pistol I'm holding. Having owned several other pistols, the Glock 17, Gen 4 is my go-to pistol and I always feel confident with it at my side.
I have a gen 2 G17 that has never missed a beat. I changed to newer magazines. The original magazines are starting to crack. I replaced the springs and replaced the plug. I probably put 3000 spins on it and bet my life on it. I now own 5 Glocks and have had no problems with them.
Got My First Glock. It's The Glock 48. Amazing Gun. I've Only Added The Talon Grip. Any Other Good Mods? I'm New To Glocks
